Saving lives through photography

The Choose Me Project

Proudly created in April, 2025

My mission with this project is to produce scroll-stopping portraits for each adoptable shelter animal in an effort to assist shelters with further reach to find loving homes and reduce their time spent in the shelter.

are you a shelter needing photographs of your adoptable animals?

WHY ARE GREAT SHELTER PORTRAITS IMPORTANT?

  • Studies show that these images receive more attention and result in higher adoptions.
  • Helps your shelter stand out, especially in terms of marketing and advertising.
  • Promotes professional images for the shelter, resulting in more community support.
  • Results in more “shares” on social media and as a result can grow social media followings on your shelter’s socials.
  • Higher adoption rates result in less overcrowding that most shelters face.
  • Photos are a great way to show the personality of each animal and offer connection.

WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOUR SHELTER?

  • A clean room or space within the vicinity of the shelter to photograph each animal.
  • An employee or volunteer to assist with handling each animal to keep the photoshoot efficient.
  • A photo release signed by your shelter or agreed person on behalf of your shelter.
  • The permission to work with your shelter to make this project a possibility!

My simple Process for
your busy shelter:

I. Reserve your day & time.

Contact me to coordinate a day and time that works best for your shelter’s schedule.

E-mail: dreamsinglassphotography@gmail.com

II. Take photos.

I will arrive at the agreed location with my camera to photograph your shelter’s adoptable animals.

Each animal will be greeted by me with a smile, gentle words, and a toy or treats. After their trust is gained, I will introduce the camera and photograph them in a natural style that allows their personality to shine.

Animals will never be pushed into a situation that makes them uncomfortable or feel they need to defend themselves.

III. Deliver memories.

Your shelter’s photographs will be delivered via e-mail with a link to access and download your shelter’s gallery via my website.
